Katrina Phurrel was born April 1, 1978 in Talladega, AL. Her mother, Beatrice, was cat behavior specialist, mostly set taught; and a house wife. Her father, Reginald, was certified in HVAC, and was a volunteer EMT.

Katrina was homeschooled by her mother, and pursued a career in cat therapy - providing therapy to cats; moved to Nashville, TN in 2010 to establish her business in a more diverse area. After a decade of success, the Covid 19 pandemic devastated her business as all her therapy calls were house calls. After struggling with the depression of isolation, Katrina was inspired to continue her therapy through a different means and founded the Kitten Scouts of America.

The kitten scouts were initially successful, and lasted until their first official scouts meeting. Unfortunately, Katrina did not consider her choice in the “VR Butterfly Experience”, and nearly every scout computer ended up broken due to over enthusiastic participation.

Humiliated by her gross oversight of predictable feline behavior, Katrina has not been heard of since. There are records of lawsuits pending against her for the return of all Kitten Scout registration fees.
