Rock musician from Beaver, Pennsylvania (born Dominic Ierace). Best known in and around Pittsburgh, where he still commands a cult following. In the 1970s, he played with the band The Jaggerz, best known for their song The Rapper and later with Wild Cherry. Iris is probably best known for his songs Ah! Leah!, King Cool, and I Can't Hear You.
Iris's signature look is curly black hair, Buddy Holly glasses (the Fortune 410 album was named after the spectacles' catalog model number), and a banana-yellow suit.
