We sat in rows,
Dressed in black head to toe.
We sang our songs,
Angry and hurt by our Lord.
We drove our cars,
Down Cemetery paths.
We took our place,
Lifting the caskets weight.
We marched in pain,
Drenched and cold from the rain.
We laid him down,
Lowered the box to the ground.
We said Goodbye,
To a dear friend of mine.
