"Class" in which students have no assigned work, only a teacher who supervises. Most students will get a pass out of the study hall, and go to the library, which usually means they will go to lunch, or out smoking. It can be useful if you need time during the day to do homework, but its mostly free time and sleeping. If you schedule enough classes, you shouldn't have too many of these
