Poon is what I called a spoon when I was small.

Now it is used among people I know as a slang term for the female genitals.
Cunnilingus is poon diving.

This is made more interesting by the fact that the sculptor Alberto Giacometti used a concave spoon shape to represent femininity and the vagina.

Poon (?), n. [Canarese ponne.]

A name for several East Indian, or their wood, used for the masts and spars of vessels, as Calophyllum angustifolium, C. inophullum, and Sterculia fetida; -- called also peon.
