An old chestnut goes like this:

Two days ago I was 15 years old. Next year I'll be 18 years old. How is this possible?

There are no time zone or leap year tricks involved here; just assume the usual American age convention (that you are X years old from the day of your Xth birthday until the day before your (X+1)th birthday).
