Bish"op*ric (?), n. [AS. bisceoprice; bisceop bishop + rice dominion. See -ric.] 1. A diocese; the district over which the jurisdiction of a bishop extends.
2. The office of a spiritual overseer, as of an apostle, bishop, or presbyter.
