Generic name for an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of infections. If you are allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin you could also be allergic to amoxicillin. Side effects may include: agitation, anemia, anxiety, changes in behavior, confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, hives, hyperactivity, insomnia, nausea, rash or vomiting.
