| In bridge, a convention that opening bids of 2D, 2H, or 2S mean
hands with 6 or more cards in the named suit and less than the usual
strength for a 1-level opening bid. 2C is reserved for a generic
strong opening bid in this system.
Sometimes 2D is given some other special conventional meaning, and weak
two bids are used only for the major suits.
