Short for Unsolicited Commercial Email, also known as spam. It's a crime in Washington state, Virginia, and other places (if certain conditions are met, like forged headers). It's also annoying as hell, wherever it arrives, and should be stamped out like a bug! And whatever you do, don't listen when the spammers and the clueless say 'Just Delete It'!
