Tom Miller, a
Hendrix-besotted
guitarist from
Delaware (with a touch of
John Coltrane), who changed his name in honor of another hero. Co-founder of the Neon Boys, later to call themselves
Television. While they were probably meant to be a democratic entity, they ended up more or less identified as Verlaine's band; most of the songs were his. Went on to a TV-ish solo career, with early experiments with guitar
synthesizers.
