So this friend of mine is a gerontologist. And whenever she tells people that she's a gerontologist, they invariably nod wisely and say -- all of them say this, each and every one, as if it's some tidbit of carefully-guarded inside information -- "That's a really good field to be in right now. Because you know, the Baby Boomers are getting older."
