Three Bull-Spectres of the Island of Britain:
  • The Spectre of Gwidawl,
  • and the Spectre of Llyr Marini,
  • and the Spectre of Gyrthmwl Wledig.

To be a bull of anything is to be a great figure, a powerful entity. Regarding Llyr Marini--it is difficult to say if this is the same as Llyr Llediath or a seperate, possibly historical figure, or if Llyr Marini is a degeneration of Llyr Llediath. However, "marini" is derived either from "seashore" or from "death."
