| A book club that will try to get you to read more science fiction...by sending you a book if you even look at them funny. Or at least that's how it seems; as with record clubs, it is sometimes a bit difficult to get them to stop sending you stuff you don't want, then charging you for it. They'll even send you free books if you sign up a friend!
Their prices on books are excellent, and their selection is usually comparable to the newer things one might find at a bookstore. Their books are, of course, between paperback and "genuine" hardcover in terms of quality, which is why they're so cheap...but if you're just going to read it anyway, do you really care?
