| Rough trade has various meanings in gay society. It seems to be principally a
term used by vanilla folk to refer to any of the following:
When middle class men seek out blue collar gay men.
Men who are or pretend to be violent.
Men who do not identify as gay engaging in homoerotic play (which correlates
with the presense of the twinkies who frequent leather bars).
BDSM play.
None of which are necessarily related concepts.
