Houston-area
rock and
Texas blues radio station located on the dial at 101.1 FM. I think they chose the call letters KLOL because all stations must begin with K, they're located at 101, and klol looks like k101. Once home of
Stevens and Pruett (now just Stevens) and
Chuck Shramek, and still home to
Totally Naked Phone-Sex Traffic, it's probably the most popular (only) rock station in
Houston. They play almost all varieties of
rock and roll and
blues, so I listen to it fairly often, usually on the way home from
work. The best thing about them, though, is they always sponsor loads of
concerts of just about every variety of rock-and-roll and blues, including
Fall Jam where I saw
Jerry Cantrell.
