| The Oatmeal Cookie is a popular drink in the United States. Though most often found in the form of a shot or shooter, there are some who will order it in a full glass. It's relatively simple to make, and handy to have in your bartender's repertoire. The mixing instructions below assume you're mixing for a full glass.

- Fill a glass with cubed ice. As long as the glass holds 6 ounces, you'll be fine.
- Pour the liquors into the glass. No particular order is required.
- Stir briskly.
- Enjoy.
A simplified version of this can be created skipping the amaretto, half and half, and doubling the amount of cinnamon schnapps. It, however, doesn't hold a candle to the real thing.
When mixed properly, this drink weighs in at around 37 proof, or 19% alcohol by volume. Despite that, it is rather quite delicious and refreshing.
