| Similar to the lives of the philosophers, which gave biographies (mostly false) of the Greek philosphers, I'd like to start collecting urban legends and plain stories about the lives of famous mathematicians. Please note that for many of the Greek philosphers, this unreliable source is the best we have (and doctorates have been written about them)!
This metanode should link to any node containing a story about a mathematician. It doesn't have to be false, but that helps, of course.
