Little Nemo in Slumberland was a comic strip drawn in the early years of the 20th Century by Winsor McKay. Each full-page, full-color strip told a story from one of Little Nemo's dreams. At the end of each strip, Little Nemo woke up. This comic strip had a huge influence on many subsequent cartoonists, including Bill Watterson who drew Calvin and Hobbes.

Also a very good game created in the olden days of the NES. Capcom published the game, which featured Nemo, who much like in the comic strip, ran around in Slumberland feeding animals candy. After feeding the animals, they would fall asleep and Nemo could ride them. A very good game, in my opinion.
