An International pop singer from Japan who currently resides in Paris. She has collaborated with such artists as Momus, Cornelius, Pizzicato Five's Yasuharu Konishi, Katerine and Beck. She also sings the theme song to the anime Chibi Maruko Chan.

Kahimi's music fits best in Tokyo's Shibuya district music scene: kitschy goodness. Her wispy voice and music sounds a lot like that of Jane Birkin.
