There was another book, preceeding the "Black Hole Travel Agency" series, called Kaduna Memories, which was their contribution to the cyberpunk movement. It concerned a non-eco friendly PI, an AI who had been broken into multiple pieces in order to preserve a secret, and an alien who was basically a biological machine.
Reading the book (following "The End of the Circle" in publishing time) was rather startling, because while containing the familiar style of McKinney's work, it was very original and creative, and was not at all of the same venue as Robotech. |
