• 1 cup soft butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/2 cup chopped filberts (hazelnuts)

Cream butter & sugar until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Then shap into crescents. Bake at 350 for 10 - 15 minutes. Note: If the cookie batter seems dry and crumbly, add a small amount more butter.
