| A Canadian who started as an improv comedian with SCTV and went on to be a not-particularly glorified actor in gems like Splash! (1984), in which he played the tightly-wound, ambitious, nebbish scientist Walter Kornbluth (*John Candy, another SCTV vet, was in Splash). You may also remember him as the worn-down car salesman in National Lampoon's Vacation (1983). He was also one of the directors of the ill-fated Maniac Mansion TV show. |
