| Amusing webcomic about a bumbling thief Bruno and his sidekick (and brain trust) Fiona the micro-dragon. The art has a clean feel to it and the design is relatively innovative for a comic strip. Ian McDonald manages to take a fantasy look at a number of modern concepts: elves trying to seccede from Rothland, the criminalization of chess and its resulting popularity, the problem of pea shooter control, medieval Mansonites choosing to be different just like everybody else, and in the latest series, religious hypocrisy. It's a quality strip, and his dedication to the art form comes through in both his work and his occasional essays to his readers called Bandit's Banter.
