A series of stories by 20th century composer John Cage. They include jokes, anecdotes, and random thoughts. If you read or hear enough of them they being to resemble Zen koans and are often quite jarring non sequiturs. They are scattered over several books and records. He would often deliver them as lectures or accompanied by music or dance. He varied the speed in which he read them so each story, no matter how long or short the text, would be one minute long, and the strange text format of some of them often reflects the pacing.
