A fight that is generally non-violent and the only weapons consist of water and water throwing devices. Usually is played as a game between children, but quite often happens with teenagers and adults. Generally a water fight is played like a first-person shooter game. There can be several types of games: missions, free for all, teams, capture the flag etc...
There's added fun when females wear white t-shirts. As white t-shirts tend to lose their ability to reflect light when wet.
The largest water fight in the world takes place in Thailand. During the holiday called Songkran. Every year three hundred to six hundred people die during this event, so be careful.
Here's a general list of weapons:
Fire truck:
Probably one of the most powerful weapons obtainable, with the exception of a water bomber (I excluded due to impossibility of finding). Fire trucks can be hard to obtain as they just don't lend them out. Yet with sponsored water fights they are a good possibility.
Fire hydrant:
Generally this one is illegal. The force of water from a fire hydrant could quite possibly kill someone. Many countries have fire hydrants at many locations mandatory by law.
Water balloon launcher:
A large rubber band that is used as a three person slingshot. Two people stand in front holding the two ends of the band, while the third puts the balloon and the middle and pulls back. It can shoot a water balloon at a tremendous speed. If it is shot at a forty-five degree angle, range can be as far as three hundred metres.
Bucket:
This one is very much self explanatory. Fill bucket with water; swing it towards someone, stop the bucket, water continues to travel. Simple law of physics.
Water gun/pistol:
It uses a pump action, that stores up pressure to push water out a nozzle. Generally it is weak but some expensive versions can obliterate people. I refuse to support the water gun industry, as it gets children interested in guns.
