The perfect sissy rock band should be comprised of mostly boys, the majority of whom are of the slight, fey, pretty boy variety, with one or two girls, at least one of whom is extremely pretty. In addition to the standard array of instruments, there should be included several that are not traditional to a rock band. One of the members who plays one of these instruments should have been a child prodigy who eshewed continuing a classical training in favor of rock. The vocalist or vocalists should have a quiet, melodic voice that make them sound alternately bored or on the verge of tears. Bonus points if the vocalist is the aforementioned pretty girl. They should sing songs about personal tradgedy, silly love, and the pain of being young. Most of the band should have gone to art school.
