A connection with another person on one of the three planes. If someone makes a real connection with another person, it, in my eyes, can be considered love. This relationship doesn't always have to be between a boy/girl. To me, there are three different 'planes' that a relationship can lie on, and it can lie on any combination of these three planes; emotional, mental, and physical. Now, a person can have a relationship with someone of the same or opposite sex on any of these three planes.
To me, sex (male and female), does not matter in a relationship. Love is love. That is all there is to it. No one person can define love for everyone. Love is a personal thing, and different for everyone. Why does society force people to believe that if you love someone of the same sex, it is wrong and immoral? Is that because most of society is a christian?
I know that I am kind of contradicting myself when I say that love cannot be defined by one person, and I go and say that relationships lie on these three planes. To me, that is what makes the most sense. |
