| Also known as palmistry, palm reading is the art of reading a person's personality and/or future by analyzing the shape of the hands, the fingers and the contours of the palm. The left hand supposedly shows the person's basic personality and current events, while the right hand shows how the basic personality has changed as well as indicating future events.
The main lines etched in your palm are the heart line, the head line, the life line and the fate line. They, as well as many other minor lines and markings, can be used to tell a person's life span, health, mental capacity, need for love, and countless other things.
The accuracy of palm reading is by no means proven, but I can tell you from personal experience that for me, it was correct almost to the point of being scary. I don't know whether this was more because of my attitude around the palm reader or the actual lines in my palm, but it was still pretty eerie. |
