This name is sometimes applied to the
puzzle where you try to make
as many different
words as possible from a given set of
letters,
kind of like
boggle but assuming all letters are adjacent.
The other type of letter bank is a form of wordplay where one word
or phrase has repeated letters in it, and another, called the bank,
contains all the letters in the other, but no duplicates.
Example: veracity, creativity.
