(n. Israeli slang) A soldier that doesn't serve in the front lines, but rather has a desk job. Most jobnicks go home every day, as opposed to once a week or two. A rookie soldier is always taught that it's a disgrace to serve in the rear but once one does, one never wishes to go back to live in a tent.
