Derived from "full credit," a term used when the student managed to get the correct answer even though she really had no idea what she was doing.

This term was generated from an advanced calculus class. Here's how it all came about (the names have been changed to protect the innocent).

Dialogue:

Susan: On question #3 I wrote out an integration for the thing, but it required some trig identity to solve, so I just put = ? and then said that whatever it equals, it has to be less than this.

Larry: What did Dr. Bob do?

Susan: He started to cross it out, but then must have gone back, crosses out the cross out, and then wrote "fool credit" to the side... I think he meant "full credit"... Do you think he mis-spelled it?

Larry: Oh that Dr. Bob...
