Classic computer game first developed for the ZX Spectrum by Mike Singleton, later enhanced and ported to PC, Amiga and other platforms. It is a strategy game based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. Many think it was developed by Melbourne House, but that company did not exist at the time and was just a label owned by Virgin Games.
