A hit variety show on CBS, 1971-74. Sonny and Cher had already done some not-bad acting (e.g. an episode of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.); here they hooked up with Allan Blye and Chris Bearde from the Smothers Brothers show, the hippest thing on TV in its day. This show was a baby boomer version of Carol Burnett's: sketch comedy (the cast included Teri Garr and Murray Langston), songs (often Vegasized covers of rock hits), celebguests, and Chastity.
