| A common name for pubs in England, of which there are many. Every town will have at least one or two Red Lions. One of which was my regular for years in Malvern, and still is when I go back there to see family and friends.
The name comes from the English emblem, as seen on football (that's real football, ie. soccer) shirts and other things, which are three lions, usually in red. |
