Julie Pierce (Hilary Swank) is a troubled teenager. Always getting into trouble. When her grandmother (Constance Towers) needs to go to California she ask Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) to watch her. Mr. Miyagi begins training the young girl. blah blah blah you can predict the rest.
What a waste of a good idea. Not that a heroine is original, but it didn't deserve to be done this poorly. Check out a Cynthia Rothrock movie for a martial arts heroine in a slightly better (but not by much) movie.
