Phrase used by Dennis Miller to signify the end of one of his trademark rants. Useful in the sense that it adds a bit of humility to the statement. Plus, it reinforces the fact that what was just said was a personal and possibly inflammatory remark, and shouldn't be interpreted as gospel; just some guy shooting off his mouth.

The phrase has the same usage in popular culture: "I was just ranting; agree or ignore as you like."
