As a straight-forward
windows text editor this
program makes an excellent replacement for
notepad. It is superior in almost ever way - supporting robust
search and replace, document
formating - even
macro recording/playback.
Of particular note is a feature called the clip library. It allows you to save frequently-used items in a configurable library. This library can be displayed to the left of the window for quick reference. The program comes with libraries for HTML, JavaScript, Pop!Talk, CSS - even ANSI and Control Characers. More are available at the www.textpad.com
IMHO this thing makes a kickass HTML editor - I've cranked out several sites with it.
