In theatrical stage rigging, the T-bar track is a part of the counterweight fly system. It guides the arbor on its travel from the stage floor to the grid. Older fly systems have an all metal track, while newer systems are often padded with plastic strips which help dampen the noise of the arbor as it moves in the track.
