| Stephen Colbert, when doing The Colbert Report, loves to make fun of books and authors and the like. Among the other gags on his show, like his frozen sperm for sale, he also plugs his tremendously-thick book, Stephen Colbert's Alpha Squad 7: Lady Nocturne: A Tek Jansen Adventure. The title is a joke against the various trashy novels and long book titles in a series. The cover features a photoshopped Mr. Colbert inside a space suit, smirking dangerously. Every so often he'd pull the prop out and read a passage on his show, which was so sci-fi over the top.
Apparently it got so popular that the show commissioned a series of animated shorts, which you can watch on The Colbert Report.
