| In Michael Moorcock's fantasy novels, a rune stylized as 4 lines intersecting at a central point, each line terminated at both ends with a triangular "arrowhead", to form a radially symmetrical symbol. The radiating arrows are supposed to symbolize the infinite possibilities of Chaos. Some of the more intense fundamentalists claim that this is a Satanic symbol, because of course the failure of juveniles to respond to Bible-thumping structure and discipline, who find a fascination with symbols (other than the Cross) and terrifying concepts like Chaos must be worshipping Satan. |
