'Sound crew' is the name given to the collection of people who are responsible for doing everything do with the sound on a play, concert, or other kind of show.
The soud crew might, on a smaller show, only consist of the sound engineer, but on larger shows there might be more than one engineer. Also, if radio mics are being used, there might be someone who is given the nickname 'Up Close and Personal' (I'm not sure if there is an official name for this position - do follow the link to find out what he does!)
