| Another one of those funny thoughts that I have floating around in my head. I would like to share it with you.
All of the vegetation, animal life and other carbon based goodies from the past became our coal, oil, and diamonds after millions of years being pressed under the rocks of the Earth. This is what coal and oil and all of that is, just compressed carbon. In much the same way that sea foam becomes meerschaum after its tenure under the load of the world, I would like to some day become a diamond - along with all of the people buried 6 feet under, our pets, and our trees.
Together, we will be the oil drifts under the sea during the next incarnation of civilization.
(Does this make oil a renewable rescource? Hmmm...)(vectormane this is a joke...) |
