Sir Killalot (or, if you will, Kill-A-Lot)...
THING
'King' of the home robots on the UK versions of Robot Wars. While at first glance he might appear to be all flash and no fight (with his silly looking sword and general human-like appearance), he's surprisingly effective and by far the most menacing robot on the show.
While somewhat slow and cumbersome, when he does manage to catch a competitor he uses his jaws-of-life-like arms to cut it to shreds. You can order a Sir Killalot action figure (currently sold out) from the Robot Wars website (http://www.robotwars.co.uk).
Power: Petrol (Gasoline) driven engine with hydraulic power packs.

Length:120cm
Width: 120cm

Weaponry: Hydraulic lance and cutter.
PERSON(S)
When I was looking for info on the robot I also discovered that there's an Irish rock band called Sir Killalot, this is their bio from their website (http://www.sirkillalotband.com)...
Howaya? We're Sir Killalot from Dublin Ireland.
We formed late in the 20th century (1998 according to another site) and have been gigging all over Ireland as well as a few gigs in England.
So far we have released a cd called "Happy Times in Gorgeous Land" and a 7" entitled "Six Fifteen" both of which you can by from us if you email for postage rates and all that stuff.
Here's the only review (sorta) I could find (http://members.tripod.com/pullnopunches/sounds/sirkill.shtml)...
Vocally this is somewhere between NUFAN and Dropkicks. Music reminds me of Rancid and SOIA. I don't want to just compare them to US bands cause I think they hold their own but you can feel the influences. I see cool things for these guys and wish them the best.
