A Renaissance faire in Waxahachie, Texas (of all places). It's been around for 20 years (as of 2000). Usually runs weekends from mid-April to early June. It's reasonably large, about 35 acres, with 10 stages and a gazillion booths. Admission this year was $16/adult...fairly entertaining, but the booth prices seemed rather high compared to the Kansas City renfest. Anyway, it's 30 miles southish of Dallas, worth a look.
