Seminal UK record label, famous for the twee nature of the bands signed to it. These bands included The Field Mice, Heavenly and The Sea Urchins. The label was dissolved after releasing a preset number of singles, ensuring that all of its releases are now quite valuable.

After the dissolution of Sarah Records, co-founder Matt Haynes went on to start Shinkansen Records, which continues to hold the twee torch aloft, with ex-The Field Mice boy Bob Wratten's Trembling Blue Stars at the helm.
