Natural leader. Can traverse most terrains as 4-WD, 600 mile range. Carries turret-mounted linear blaster gun...can blow a hole in 2-foot thick concrete. As a robot has laser rifle and shrapnel-missile launcher.

Transformers Tech Specs
Like Whirl and Jetfire, Roadbuster was borrowed from competing toy company Bandai (specifically, the "Mugen Calibur" mecha from the short-lived Dorvack series) and added to the Transformer lineup. This wasn't unusual at all, except that Takara was their competitor in the Japanese market, where the TV cartoon was also being shown. As a result, he was never promoted in the cartoon and lost all of his tie-in marketability.
