In the mid 90's IHOP, (The International House Of Pancakes) ran a series of commercials. They all started with a guy saying "Cliff Here At IHOP". If I remember correctly he was the same guy who played Cliff Claven the mailman from Cheers. Many IHOP's had a sign in front of one of their parking spaces that said, "Reserved For Cliff".

I used to work in an IHOP. We had that sign. But lots of people didn't get the joke. So that parking space was usually empty. I usually used it myself. One regular customer actually thought my name was Cliff because he saw me park there.
