Red Man is the most popular brand of chewing tobacco in the United States. It comes in three varieties: Regular, Golden Blend, and Plug.
Red Man regular ( in a green pouch) is the standard variety. It is quite yummy, but may be a bit too strong for novice chewers. It can be slightly bitter.
Golden Blend ( in a brown pouch) is the sweeter variety of Red Man. It has a heavy molasses influence. Good for beginner chewers. HEAVY SALIVA inducer.
Red Man Plug ( in a hard, rectangular, green pouch ) is a throwback to the old plug days of chewing tobacco. The tobacco is compacted into something resembling a hard brick. You bite off chunks from the "plug" and chew away. Having never tasted this particular variety of Red Man, I can offer no comments regarding its taste. |
