This band from Portland, Oregon consists of 10 members who blend everything from classical chamber music to Cuban rhumba to create a unique sound. They released their debut CD, Sympathique in 1997 throughout the Pacific Northwest, and nationwide in 1998. The album's title song, "Sympathique" (the best song on the album, IMHO) was played during an episode of the television show Felicity. I recommend this album to anyone who enjoys jazz or classical, or anyone who just wants to hear something new and different!
